Privacy Policy
Who we are
Stubee is a video analysis and knowledge library service operated by 01Republic Inc., the controller of personal information covered by this policy. This policy applies to Stubee at stubee.io.

Information we process
- Accounts and sign-in: email address, name, profile image, authentication provider identifiers, and session information. We use Clerk and Google sign-in to authenticate users and manage accounts. We do not store your Google password on Stubee servers.
- Analysis and storage: submitted YouTube URLs, prompts, timestamped comments, generated documents, folders, analysis language, task status, and timestamps. We use this information to fulfill requests, deliver documents, and support follow-up conversations.
- Credit accounting: balances, reservations, debits, grants, provider request identifiers, costs, and usage. These records support cost verification and prevent duplicate debits. Card purchases and paid subscriptions are not currently available, and we do not collect card details.
- Security and operations: hosting and authentication providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, and request, error, and authentication logs to deliver the service and address faults and abuse.
- Support: your email address and correspondence, used to respond to inquiries and rights requests.
We process information necessary to perform our service contract. Where separate consent is required, we process information within that consent. Do not include other people's personal information or sensitive information in analysis messages.
AI and public video information
For analysis, we send the video URL, public metadata, your prompt, and relevant prior conversations and documents to Google Gemini through OpenRouter. We do not automatically attach your sign-in email or profile. Personal information you include in a message may be part of the request.
We retrieve public video titles, channels, durations, and related information through the YouTube API. Public video information and reusable public-video knowledge may be stored in a shared cache to reduce duplicate processing. Personal library records, comments, and follow-up conversations are not shared with other users.
Opening a page containing a YouTube player or playing a video may allow Google to process cookies and connection information. See the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. Stubee is not an official affiliate of YouTube or Google.
Service providers and international processing
We use the providers below for authentication, hosting, storage, and AI processing. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections when you sign in, save content, or request analysis. You can contact us for information about international processing or request that it stop. Stopping processing necessary to provide a feature may prevent you from using that feature.

Specific processing locations and retention periods may depend on provider contracts, settings, and subprocessors. Contact us for clarification or deletion requests.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and service records while providing your library and analysis service. We delete unnecessary personal information without undue delay when its purpose ends or we process a deletion request. Records required by law or legitimately needed for an ongoing dispute are retained separately for the necessary period.
Deleting your authentication account and deleting Stubee documents, conversations, and credit records are separate processes. To delete Stubee service data, contact official@01republic.io. After verifying your identity, we will explain the scope, any legally required retention, and follow-up actions involving backups or providers. We review electronic files, prior document versions, restricted backups, and provider storage and explain deletion completion or the reason and duration for continued retention.
Non-personal public-video metadata and shared knowledge may be retained separately. Results containing personal messages or identifiers are reviewed as part of deletion requests. Support correspondence is deleted when the inquiry is resolved and further retention is no longer needed.
Cookies and browser storage
We use Clerk cookies needed for sign-in and security. Language preferences, draft input, and similar convenience settings may be stored in your browser. You can delete or block cookies and site data through browser settings, but sign-in and some features may stop working. Stubee does not currently install separate advertising trackers.
Your rights and safeguards
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent by contacting official@01republic.io. We verify your identity or your representative's authority, respond under applicable law, and explain any limitations. We do not operate the service to sell personal information. You may also raise concerns with your applicable data protection authority.
We use access controls, encryption in transit, private document storage, separated secrets, and restricted credentials. AI results may contain errors and are not provided to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people.
Changes to this policy
We publish the effective date and information about changes on this page when this policy or our processing practices change. Where separate consent is required, we obtain it before the change takes effect.
